This week, the Mitsubishi Electric team is in sunny Orlando at the National Association of Home Builder’s (NAHB) International Builders’ Show (IBS). IBS is co-locating with The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and 80,000 visitors are expected to attend. Activities include educational courses, exhibitor sessions and events centered around residential and light commercial construction.
Be sure to visit Mitsubishi Electric at Booth S231. This year, we are featuring several residential and commercial products, including our multi-zone cooling and heating outdoor units, the CITY MULTI® L-Generation Air-Source outdoor unit, the kumo suite and much more.
It’s also a particularly exciting show for two reasons: our MXZ Hyper-Heating INVERTER® (H2i®) outdoor unit is a finalist in the Best of IBS Awards, and our Zoned Comfort Solutions™ have been selected to be included in the 2018 New American Home (TNAH).
The MXZ H2i outdoor unit is one of seven finalists in the Best Energy Efficient Product category. Backed by INVERTER-driven technology, the MXZ H2i provides energy-efficient, multi-zone heating and cooling for residences that experience extreme climates. Throughout the expo, a panel of judges will assess and rate the finalists with category winners being announced at the Best of IBS Awards event on Thursday, January 11.
As for this year’s New American Home, which showcases best practices in residential building and architecture, the following 10 Mitsubishi Electric products will be featured:
- One ceiling-recessed 4-way cassette (SLZ-KA09NAR1.TH)
- Four multi-position air handlers (MVZ-A12AA7)
- Two concealed ducted air handlers (SEZ-KD09NA4R1.TH)
- One cooling only heat pump outdoor unit (MSZ-GL24NA-U1)
- Two heat pump outdoor units (MUZ-GL24NA-U1, MXZ-8C48NA)
Suppliers for the 2018 TNAH were selected for their commitment to energy efficiency. This home is targeted to become certified in the EPA’s ENERGY STAR® and Indoor airPLUS programs, and as a DOE Zero Energy Ready Home.
We are excited to be in attendance, and proud to provide both residential and commercial markets top quality, energy-efficient products that are recognized within the industry.
